Non-profit organizations may not be able to afford a lot of complex web design but are always interested in how they can get the most bang for their buck. Bookawocky wanted a fun interactive experience for the children while they saved and rated their summer books.
What we came back with was an idea which would visually mimic the book list with the titles and ratings that each child gave their book. For the homepage we knew that we wanted to give a brief description of the program but also highlight the new bookawocky brand and illustrations. We knew that it was important to make the introduction to the site appealing to parents and teachers before sending their kids to use the site.
